GSB announced the artists selected for the public art project honoring the cultures that established Seattle and I'm proud to be representing the Italians!

Just finished!

We had a fun outdoor raku firing this month and this little lady went from sketch to final result beautifully! Maybe not as bright a pink as I planned but that's the magic of ceramics, letting go of my plans and letting the kiln gods decide!

Work in Progress

I've been playing with mason stain porcelain and practicing sculpting faces and I'm looking forward to so much pottery in the sun this summer!
